Who we are
Sheep Cult Comics was born from a need. Sheep Cult Comics aims to sell print works by outsiders and for outsiders. We want to create a space for people to learn and discover, shelves to get lost in and a space to read books that change your heart, something you can’t do in between the cold pixels of Amazon.com. Sheep Cult Comics will be the next era in retail comics and books.

Shopping experience
-
A store unlike any other, the Sheep Cult Comics storefront itself is designed to capture the ethereal journey through the deepest pages of any book and bring it into the physical. Sheep Cult Comics will be less of a store, and more of a space safe to explore.
Online Shopping
-
Our online store also offers a top quality shopping experience, where products can be sorted by title, author, or even publisher. Users can read up on releases on our blog, including reviews of books. Users can also sort by genre, an option not found on many e-commerce platforms. The functioning (as yet, empty of product) Sheep Cult Comics website can be found by clicking any of the links above.
WHAT WE SELL
-
INDIE COMICS
Called ‘Independent Comics’ to distinguish them from mass published super-hero novelties, they take the storytelling success of main-stream comics and bring it to the next level with real art, and real stories.
-
ZINES
Zines, short for magazine, are small booklets made for cheap and distributed to audiences quickly. They take all the power of communication found in newspapers, magazines, and journals, and add the unstoppable force of a do-it-yourself attitude.
-
BOOKS AND EVERYTHING ELSE
Books, Chapbooks, Magazines, Newspapers, Pamphlets, Journals, Artist’s Books, Postcards, Guides, Posters, Booklets, Digital Media, Collectibles...
Everything else we do
It took us years to earn the wisdom and knowledge we needed to live our best lives, and a lot of that was achieved through reading. That took us longer then it should have. When we get down to it, we want to add to people’s lives what our own lives were missing when we grew up, and much of that doesn’t exist as a business. Our store will sell books and do so well, but on top of that we will also:
- Comic Making Classes
- Artist Talks
- Small Artist Business Classes
- Support Group Meetings
- Makers Markets
- Local Library Classes
- Penitentiary Workshops
- Local Artist Representation at Conventions
- Digital Comic Sale Meetups
- Free Zine Making Kits
- Book Drives and Donations
- Local Artist Collaborations and Support
- Community Event Patronage
