Henry Barrett is a Chicago-based writer and bartender, where he lives with his wife and their two cats. He studied at Shimer College for his undergraduate education and received an MA in the History of Christianity from the University of Chicago’s Divinity School. His work on the Italian nun Maria Maddalena de’ Pazzi was recently published in an edited volume on women mystics from Routledge. His creative nonfiction work has been featured in Macrina Magazine.
