Query: Free Regrets is a surreal associative poetry zine built from screenshots I took of real user queries that I encountered while working as a search engine data annotator.

Part fragmented glimpse into the minds of the general google using public, full of odd questions, logistical problems, spiritual emergencies, and existential spirals. Part haphazard record of people attempting to locate themselves through inquiry: in their bodies, in their relationships, in time, in crisis, in passing curiosity.

This zine invites you to wander through the strangeness of what people seek to understand from internet when no one is watching (or so they think... myself and at least 200 other data annotators definitely were... and, sorry about that by the way...) and to recognize, maybe, a piece of yourself in the noise.
